Abstract:The oxidative debenzyiation of tetraacetyldibenzylhexaazaisowurtzitane ( TADBIW ) by potassium permanganate as oxidation agent in acetic anhydride in the presence of boron fluride ethyl etherate catalyst gives tetraacetyldibenzoylhexaazaisowurtzitane (1), a new compound tetraacetylbenzoylbenzylhexaazaisowurtzitane (2) and hexaacetylhexaazaisowurtzitane (3) which is obtained by oxidation for the first time.

Abstract:Catalytic activity of nanocrystalline transition metal oxides on the decomposition of energetic material NH4ClO4 (AP) is investigated by thermal analysis. Results indicated that the nanocrystalline CuO powders have most strongly catalytic activities comparing with other mono-metal oxides. Moreover, the catalytic activities of the nanocrystalline CuO powders on the decomposition of AP have relationship with preparing methods and the microstructure of nanocrystalline CuO powders. Among them, the catalysis of the spherical shape nanocrystal CuO powders with better dispersion on AP decomposition is the strongest, and it can made the higher temperature peak of AP decomposition drop down 93.19 ℃ and made thermal power rise to 1 420 J·g-1 by 590.12 J·g-1. Nanocrystalline Fe2O3 with doping with Cu2+(5%) can greatly enhance its catalytic activity on the decomposition of AP, and it made the higher temperature peak of AP decomposition drop down 78 ℃ by 35 ℃ (continuing dropping 43 ℃), and made thermal power rise to 1 230 J·g-1by 980.50 J·g-1. Compared with mono-metal oxides, some new multi-metal oxides have more strongly catalytic activities. Especially compound 1, it made the higher temperature peak of AP decomposition drop down more 110℃ and made thermal power rise to 1 470 J·g-1.

Abstract:Two simultaneous devices of the fast thermlysis reaction cell (gas reaction cell) in situ in conjunction with rapid-scan fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (RSFT-IR), and the solid reaction cell in situ /RSFT-IR were used to measure the gas products and condensed phase products of the thermal decomposition of HMX/RDX-NEPE propellant in real time. Under linear temperature increase condition, the thermal decomposition characteristics of HMX/RDX-NEPE propellant was studied. On the basis of the results obtained, the thermal decomposition mechanism was discussed.

Abstract:In order to investigate the energy property of RDX/AP/Al/HTPB propellant, theoretical calculation is conducted. By the ignition experiment of BSF 165 mm and BSF 315 mm motor,We summarize the regularity of energy property with the change of RDX content in propellant and chamber pressure of motor. The optimum formulating is designed according to the results of theoretical calculation and experiment.The comparative tests by 760 mm motor have further confirmed the contribution of RDX in specific impulse, and the actual specific impulse is 2 428.1 N·s·kg-1(pc=6.86 MPa) of 760 mm motor.
Abstract:FAE cloud was limited by many factors. In this paper, based on experiments, influence characteristics of shell materials, specific central explosive and the ratio of height to diameter were studied. Some results indicated: steel shell is propitious for the radial dispersion of cloud, proper specific central explosive can form optimized cloud dimension and adjust the inner concentration of cloud, and the ratio is not the main influencing factor on the final cloud status. These results possessed important application value in device design and improving power of FAE.

Abstract:A series of solid superacid catalyst of SO42-/WO3-ZrO2 containing different ratio of WO3 and ZrO2 have been prepared and characterized; regioselectivities of chlorobenzene mononitration with nitric acid, on these catalysts having different WO3 content and calcination temperature, were investigated. Experiments show that chlorobenzene is nitrated with high para-selectivity at present of acetic anhydride using SO42-/WO3-ZrO2 by a calcination step for 3 h at 600 ℃ as catalyst and a stoichiometric quantity of nitric acid. Nitration of chlorobenzene gives a 55.8% yield of mononitro compounds, and an ortho-para isomer ratio 0.30 in product distribution of chlorobenzene mononitration. The process is rapid, and represents an attractive method for green synthesis of nitroaromatic compounds.

Abstract:2,6-dinitrotoluene was separated from a mixture of 2,4-and 2,6-dinitrotoluene by a joint crystallization method. The method resolves effectively the separation and purification problems, which are difficult to be overcomed by recrystallization. The technological condition was improved by a series of experiments using different concentration of ethyl alcohol and get the best temperature by recrystallization with sulphuric acid in different temperatures.
Abstract:After review of the literature on 1,3,3-trinitroazetidine (TNAZ), two routes for TNAZ synthesis on technological scale are presented, and physico-chemical properties, sensitivity and eutectic mixtures with other energetic materials for TNAZ are outlined. Application advance of TNAZ in the explosive field are also introduced according to the literature.
Abstract:The theoretical judges of relative magnitude of impact sensitivity by means of quantum-chemical calculations for a series of explosive compounds have been reviewed, including the principle of the smallest bond order, the principle of the easiest transition for electron, and specially the kinetic judge —the activation energy of the initiation thermodecomposition reaction. These judges were compaired for their advantages, shortcomings and their application range.
Abstract:The high insensitive explosive and the flat charge are introduced in this paper. The detonation velocity and detonation pressure of the DO-XX explosive are calculated. The detonation velocity of the flat charge is measured, and the safety characteristics of the explosive charge are studied and analyzed, which can meet the requirements of engineering designs.

Abstract:Mathematical model about injection nitrator producing nitroglycerine is founded and several assumptions are put forth in this paper. Meanwhile, several groups of functional equations of phase equilibrium are used to calculate the degree of the reaction instead of the traditional equilibrium constant method. Running the mathematical model are simple and quick, and the results accord with actual production condition very well.
Abstract:Synthesis,properties and application in propellants of polyNIMMO and NIMMO were briefly discussed. PolyNIMMO showed a good foreground as binder in LOVA propellant, and its oligomers might be used as plasticiser for nitrate ester binders, which also was an important studied issue.
