Abstract:This paper deals with a simple and safe preparation technique for EDD(Ethylenediamine Dinitrate),in which the filtrate was used as the reaction dispersing medium,and as a result,production yield of higher than 84% was achieved at low cost.

Abstract:Three thermokinetic equations describing the crystal growth process and two relationships between the parameters and the constants of the kinetic equations are derived. The thermokinetic data of crystal growth processes of RDX and HMX are treated based on the derived equations and relationships. The results show that the exothermic dilution / crystallization processes of RDX and HMX are the first order reaction and accord with the dislocation theory.

Abstract:Diisobutyl aluminum chloride is synthesized by the reaction of triisobutyl aluminum and carbon tetrachloride. Diisobutyl aluminum azide (DBAA) is synthesized by the reaction of the sodium azide and diisobutyl aluminum chloride in arenes, and its complex(DBAA·THF) is also synthesized through the reaction of the sodium azide and diisobutyl aluminum chloride in tetrahydrofuran. DBAA and DBAA·THF are characterized by IR and HNMR spectrum. The properties of DBAA and DBAA·THF are also studied.

Abstract:The acetylation of 3,4-diaminofurazan (DAF) was studied in this paper. By the reaction of DAF with chloroacetyl chloride and bromoacetyl bromide respectively, the substituted acetyl furazano derivatives were obtained. Then 3-amino-4-(azidoacetamido)furazan was obtained as an high nitrogen content furazano energetic derivative by treating these two intermediates with sodium azide.

Abstract:The preparation method of the intermolecular explosive-EA was investigated.The structure of the resulting EA was characterized by melting point,element analysis,FTIR and MS.The thermal stability,melting process and sensitivity were determined. The results show that EA has good thermal stability and lower sensitivity, and can be used as casting agent due to good stability of liquid state and extensive temperature range of liquid state after melted.

Abstract:In this paper, according to over-pressure and duration damage criterion and CI criterion of the shock wave, a new casualty ranking formulae are derived with least square method. Based on the analysis of characteristics of explosive field formed by FAE , characteristic equation is fitted with trial data. Then the range of casualty ranking of FAE is deduced (the power range).

Abstract:The detonation pressures of several typical fuel-air explosive (FAE) were calculated with VLW EOS and its code, and cloud power indexes were introduced for typical liquid fuels and solid-liquid mixed fuels. The law of effect of fuel compositions on detonation performances of FAE is obtained. The results show that the calculated data are in good agreement with experimental results.
Abstract:The characterization of the combustion properties of the aluminum-magnesium fuel-rich propellant for unchoked ducted rocket was studied. The pressure exponents calculated by the burning rates at different pressure from the pressure gauge and from the absolute pressure are different. The author suggested using the exponents calculated from the absolute pressure. The experimental results show that the correlation between the burning rate and the pressure is better suited by the Summerfield formula than the Vieille Law.

Abstract:Based on modified HC, the influence of red phosphorus(RP)content on smoke spectrum transmissivity, initial concentration, settling velocity and particle size distribution is studied. Smoke chamber experiment results show that when RP content is 0% ,the average infrared spectrum transmissivity is 22.4% with smoke in 8~14 μm; when RP content is 10% ,the average infrared spectrum transmissivity is reduced to 7.8% in the same smoke region.

Abstract:The physical properties of aged NEPE-5 under 65 ℃ were measured by using the dynamic mechanical analysis and the change of dynamic properties were analyzed. The data varied regularly with the increase of aging time when the temperature ranged from -20 ℃ to 40 ℃. The specific heat around vitrification and viscoelastic coefficient and all decreased with the increase of aging time. At high temperature section (0~40 ℃),the storage modulus and the loss modulus changed little when the samples were aged for less than 60 days, whereas increased greatly with the increase of aging time after aged for 60 days.

Abstract:The calculation method of the accurate heats of formation for conjugated and cage systems has been reviewed, by choosing suitable reference compound and designing isodesmic reaction and taking examples of tetrazole derivatives and polysubstitut cubanes (i.e.the tetrazole and the cubane cage skeleton is not broken). It is pointed that the application of the group addition method to calculate the heats of formation is restricted in some case, for example, to calculate the heats of formation for polynitrocubanes.

Abstract:The influence of granular size of explosive B on initiation sensitivity by slapper is investigated. The result shows that the granulated fine grain mixure explosive can decrease the slapper initiating threshold value and improve the safty and reliability of slapper detonator.
Abstract:The main ammonium nitrate explosives produced in China, and a tendency for the improvement of industrial explosives in China are discussed. The properties of ammonium nitrate explosives and their function in the blasting engineering are studied, and the suggestions on selecting proper ammonium nitrate explosives in the blasting operation are offered .
