Abstract:In this paper, the preparation methods and effect factors of zinc carbohydrazide perchlorate (II) (GTX) are discussed systematically. The best technique parameters of every factor are determined through optimization experiments. Then the optimal technique is acquired, which makes the yield increase to above 80% and crystal forms well. Its explosive properties were tested by friction sensitivities, impact sensitivities and DSC thermal analysis.

Abstract:By using the DTA technique, the thermal decomposition of fuels (MEL,PVA,MC,AC) and thermal reactions of mixtures of these fuels and oxidants were investigated. The results show that MEL decomposed endothermally,PVA,AC,MC-exthothermally. The mixtures react more complicatedly. From the view of processing DTA data with the help of famous Kissinger method, some mixtures do not follow the conditions of Kissinger′s equation. The reason of such phenomena may be is that the gaseous products of thermal reaction do not influence the reaction process, in one hand, and the reaction happens in pure solid phase, in another hand. These phenomena are important for estimating the ignition ability of combustion and stability combustion of such gas generation compositions(GGC), The value of reaction constants of mixtures demonstrates the possibility and stability of ignition and combustion of mentioned mixtures. Because that MEL and its mixture with oxidants mentioned above decompose and react endothermally, MEL does not be used singly as fuel of pyrotechnic composition. MC,AC and PVA may be used as component of GGC.
Abstract:The compatibility of 1,3,3-trinitroazetidine (TNAZ) with some common materials such as HMX,RDX,NC,C2,NG was researched by using the DSC method. It was concluded that the compatibility of TNAZ with HMX,RDX is better and good respectively,and with NC,C2,NG is worse,worse and bad respectively.

Abstract:The spark energy, EES, required for 50 percent initiation probability of 41 polynitro compounds was determined. The relationships between the EES values and impact sensitivity, expressed as drop energies Ed of the "first reaction", were established and discussed. The conclusion is made that depending on intermolecular interaction factors in crystals of energetic materials, the mechanism of impact energy transition to the reaction centre of their molecule can be differ from that of transition of energy of electric spark.
Abstract:The theraml behaviour of fifteen nitrosubstituted azetidines,3,3-dinitroazetidinium dinitramide (1),3,3-dinitroazetidinium nitrate (2),3,3-dinitroazetidinium nitroform salt (3),3,3-dinitroazetidinium-3,5- dinitrobenzoate (4),3,3-dinitroazetidinium picrate (5),3,3-dinitroazetidinium-3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-onate (6),1,3-bis(3′,3′-dinitroazetidine group)-2,2-dinitropropane (7),1-(2′,2′,2′-trinitroethyl)-3,3-dinitroazetidine (8), 3,3-dinitroazetidinium perchlorate (9),1-( 3′,3′-dinitroazetidineyl)-2,2-dinitropropane(10), 3,3-dinitroazetidinium-2,4,6-trinitrobenzoate (11),bis(3′,3′-dinitroazetidine)ketone (12),1-( 2′,4′-dinitrophenyl)-3,3-dinitroazetidine (13), 1-(2′,4′,6′-trinitrophenyl)-3,3-dinitroazetidine (14), bis(3′,3′-dinitroazetidineyl)oxalone (15) in static air has been studied by means of differential scanning calorimetry. On the basis of the results obtained,the relative thermal stability order and two relationship between the kinetic parameters,and the exathermic decomposition temperature and thermal explosion critical temperature for above-mentioned nitrosubstituted azetidines are proposed.

Abstract:The main properties and low vulnerability tests of 40NTO/60TNT and 25RDX/25NTO/50TNT formulations are researched. The incorporation of NTO in TNT-fillings shows a significant on low vulnerability and mechanical properties.

Abstract:The preparation method and structure analysis results were obtained for the salt made from semicarbazide and picric acid. The molecular structure was characterized by elemental analysis, IR and DSC. Its crystal structure was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method with a four-circle diffractometer. The results show that the crystal is of triclinic system. Space group is Pī with crystal parameters of a=5.024(1)Å, b=10.209(1)Å,c=11.551(1)Å;α=79.00(1)°,β=81.11(1)°,γ=82.47(1)°;V=571.42(14)Å3,Z=2,Dc=1.768 g·cm-3,μ=0.162 mm-1,F(000)=312, R1=0.032 4,Rw2=0.087 4。

Abstract:This paper deals with the ignition process of the base bleed grain consisting of NH4ClO4 (AP) and hydro-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) by the GC-45 igniter with the ignition composition ZrH2+PbO2 and modified igniter with the ignition composition Mg+PTFE. The simulation device of ignition instantaneity and the rotated combustion interruption device are used in the experiment. It is proved in the experiment that the GC-45 igniter has the problem of long ignition delay and heavy ablation when it is used to ignite the AP/HTPB base bleed grain, and the problems are the important reason that decreased range and ballistic precision. It is suggested that the igniter should be improved.
Abstract:The review is an attempt to consolidate the information on physical and chemical properties of ammonium nitrate(AN), AN phase transitions and modifications. Present situation of AN propellants for missile gas generator applications is introduced.

Abstract:The researches on ignition and combustion of boron were reviewed, and the approach to improve the ignition and combustion performance of boron was discussed. It is shown that the difficult ignitability and low combustion efficiency of boron are caused by oxide of boron surface. Using fine diameter boron, coating boron and adding other ingredient into the boron-based fuel-rich propellants can increase employed efficiency of boron.

Abstract:The molecular structure feature,preparation methods and their applications of triazol-one and amino-tetrazole are described and reviewed. The applied prospects of triazol-one and amino-tetrazole and their coordination compounds in the field of energetic materials are discussed.
Abstract:The physical chemistry parameters of some powdery AN-TNT-FO explosives were given in this paper. The mathematical model for formulation design of powdery AN-TNT-FO explosivesis was studied. The calculated formulation of the mathematical model for the formulation design of AN-TNT-FO explosives which has the same raw material cost as that of AN-TNT-FO explosives now available was reported. The theoretic formulations are compared with the formulations of powdery AN-TNT-FO explosives which are being made in our country and the suggestion of formulation improvement is made.
