Abstract:At the temperature (25~35℃) TNT-RDX wastage was treated by the technology of anaerobic-facultative-aquatic organism and adsorption. The treating capacity was 60~900L/d. The experimental results indicate when the concentration of the wastage is 4~12mg/L, the treated effluent can reach the national drainage standard. Anaerobic-facultative can remove more than 80% of TNT and RDX in the wastage. Aquatic organism (water hyacinth) can degradate TNT and RDX in some extent. Activated carbon adsorption can be used to further ensure the drainage always conformable with the required standard.

Abstract:Branched glycidyl azide polymer (B-GAP) can be used to improve the rheologic characteristics and mechanical properties of solid propellants and plastic-bonded explosives. B-GAP was prepared by reaction of polyepichlarohydrin (PECH) and its monomer (ECH) with sodium azide (NaN3) in dimethylforamide (DMF) under 70~100℃ temperature, ethylene glycol (EG) was used as an initiator of polymerization. The main factors influencing on branching and azidation were experimentally investigated, including the method to control the hydroxyfunctionality, molecular weight and its distribution.
Abstract:The effects of environmental humidity on tensile properties of HTPB propellants were experimentally investigated to find out the reason of its rapid worsening elongation at 5℃ and low stretching rate. After analysis of the data obtained thereof, some approaches to prevent HTPB propellant from this worsening are proposed.

Abstract:The loading parameters influencing ballistic behaviors of low temperature sensitivity charge are theoretically analyzed. The effect of mixed proportion of the propellant main charge to nitroguanidine-coated charge, burning surface ratio,SM/SB,and the burning surface temperature coefficient on the ballistic temperature sensitivity of the propellant are discussed in detail. The results show that increasing the percentage of coated propellant, decreasing burning surface ratio between the main charge and coated propellant charge and increasing the absolute value of burning surface temperature coefficient under some conditions are beneficial to reduce the ballistic temperature coefficient of LTSC.
Abstract:Isopropyl nitrate is prepared by nitrating isopropanol with nitric acid at 100℃ in the presence of urea and ammonium nitrate. The yield of isopropyl nitrate can be obtained over 85% under the optimum reaction conditions. The purity of isopropyl nitrate can be over 98% based on the analysis of gas chromatography.

Abstract:By condensation reaction of 3,3-dinitroazetidine with phosgene and oxalyl chloride, two polynitrocompounds were obtained. Their thermal kinetic parameters were determined by DSC experiment and structure were identified by IR spectrum,NMR analysis. Quantum chemistry calculation for bis(3′,3′-dinitroazetidine)one was made by using SCF-MO-AM1 code and the optimal geometric configuration and electronic structure were obtained therefrom.

Abstract:The factors influencing the yield and quality of hexanitrostilbene(HNS) from oxidizing hexanitrobibenzil(HNBB) are discussed. The experimental results show, addition to the satisfactory technology procedure, the proportion of solvent and dispelling H2O in reaction system are also the prerequisites to increase HNS yield.

Abstract:Triaminoguanidine azide (TAZ) contains 85.7% of nitrogen in its molecule which release bond energy(367kJ/mol) and large ammout of nitrogen gas while burning. TAZ,therefore is an ideal propellant fuel to enhance the specific impuls and decrease the combustion temperature. By using dicyandiamide, sodium azide, nitric acid, methanol, hydrazine hydrate as basic materials,TAZ was prepared via triaminoguanidine nirate by the method of ion exchange and the approaches to increase the yield of TAZ were searched for. The products of TAZ and TAGN were determined by means of infrared spectrum, mass spectrum and elemental analysis.

Abstract:A new criterion ΔD is proposed to assess the compatibility of composite explosives by analyzing the experimental data obtained from acceleration rate calorimeter (ARC). The experimental results of RDX-based compositions and the corresponding theory analysis indicate,if the experimental conditions are properly selected,ΔD is a valid criterion to assess the compatibility of explosives with the related materials therein. The proper data selection is suggested for ΔD calculation.
Abstract:The experimental results of friction sensitivity of explosives are discussed and compared with those obtained from skid tests. It is found that the sensitiveness sequence of some explosives obtained from friction test and skid test are basically agreed with each other, and the particle size of sample and their quantity squeezed out from the test rollers are important factors influencing the test results.
