Abstract:The dependance of mechanical properties on interfacial bonding strength of two kinds of coated single base propellants during their aging process was studied. It is concluded that the interfacial bonding strength of coated single propellant can effectively be improved by absorbing nitroglycerin(NG) and makes it non-debonding after aging under different temperature,which agrees with the requirements of low-temperature coefficient propellants to reach the optimum ballistic effect.

Abstract:The factors which effect on the compression ignition of liquid propellant and the approach for controlling and avoiding the erratic ignition are discussed.Based on the experimental in vestigation,it is found that the bubbles contained in liquid propellant play a major role in effect on the compressive ignition,and the prepressurization of liquid propellant is an efficient method to reduce the possible compression ignition in regenerative liquid propellant guns.
Abstract:The mathematical treatments of ignition and combustion of aluminium powder and the heat feedback to burning surface of nitramine propellant are described. The combustion model established thereof can explain the effects of content,particle size and granular distribution of aluminium powder on combustion bhavior of the propellant,and the precision of modeling calculation is increased as well.

Abstract:A new method of coating ammonium nitrate (AN) by nitrocellulose (NC) is presented. Based on the investigation of coating conditions and the factors influencing on the coating quality, a preferred technological condition is worked out. Experimental results indicate that the evenly coated product is good in quality, less susceptible to humidity and caking, and the impact sensitivity is somewhat decreased as well.

Abstract:Referring to the data of reaction rate and JWL equation of state reported by Lee E L and Tarver C M,we computed the detonation wave structure and numerically modeled the shock initiation and detonation proceeding around the corner of cast TNT by using the 2D Lagrange FCM code.We also compared the results obtained from computation with those given by the above said authors, and found both of them well agreeable with each other.

Abstract:The design principle and structure of caseless crack combustion high-energy-gas fracturors are briefly reviewed. Based on analysing the method of calculation, the size of high pressure gas area and the maximum pressure in the tube center, the pressure distribution in the oil well and its variation with time were studied. The effective fracture area and the extending regularity of rock crevice is discussed, and a rule for choice of well and stratum is given.

Abstract:The effect of kind or content of binders on the relative spectral power distribution and color rendering index of illuminating compositions were studied. Based on the spectroscopy theory, thermal broadening and pressure broadening of sodium atomic spectrum, and the effect of these broadening behaviors on the increament of the color rendering index of illuminating compositions are discussed.
Abstract:After friction sensitivity test of TATB pellet, the working surface of the steel pillar wouled be coloured in some extent. In order to verify if it was resulted from the explosive ignition, the TATB pellets were compressed in situ on the friction device with the test tools under different conditions and then check the pillar surfaces and TATB examples compressed. Even though the pillars were coloured after compressing TATB pellets in some cases,the IR spectrum analysis indicated,there were not any chemical reaction occured,The different colours were the result of light interference from the TATB film formed on the surface during the pellet compression.The desensitization effect of TATB is discussed herein.
