Abstract:This thermal explosion processes of cylindric PBX charges with finite scale were experimentaly studied in unconfined conditions and some valuable results were obtained therefrom.

Abstract:65 parts of RDX crystal coated with 0.65 part of polymer and 35 parts of TNT were mixed and molten under vacuum at 85～90℃,then cast into aluminum moulds and let them solidify at room temperature,The results of exudation test and dimension of charges measured show that the exudate weights, irreversible growth values and density decrements of said charges are much less than those of RDX/TNT/MNT64. 78/34. 88/0. 34 (wt%) charges,where MNT is m- and p-mononitrotoluene.

Abstract:5-Amino-7-picrylamino-4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxan has been synthesized from 5,7-diamino-4,6-dinitrobenzo furoxan,Its molecular structure has been determined by elemental analysis,IR,NMR,and MS spectroscopes and some of the proper ties, including density(1.93g/cm³),decomposition point(240℃),are also reported.

Abstract:The densities of Co(Ⅲ)amminates are calculated by additive method using molar volume increments of structural fragments with average error of±1.2g/cm³.Their detonation velocity are estimated by dividing the coordination complexes into an“active”(anion-oxidizer and ligands)and an“inert”(metal center cation and water)parts and then by calculation method using increments of chemical bonds and structural fragments with average error of ± 140m/s.

Abstract:The important roles of non-destructive testing (NDT)in the quality and safety reliability for explosive parts as well as the speciality of NDT to explosive charges are discussed. The present status and future of NDT techniques utilization and development in the field of explosives inland and broad are reviewed.

Abstract:This paper reports an new impact setup of impact sensitivity test for IHEs and their characteristic drop height obtained therefrom. The results show that not only a lot of IHEs’ sensitivity which is otherwise difficult to evaluated but also the sensitivity of susceptive explosives can be rationally distinguished by using this setup.

Abstract:Some viewpoints on the design of explosive molecules are discussed based upon the relationship between their structures and properties,and the trend of energetic material development is refferred as well.
