    Abstract:

    3, 6-Bis(3, 5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-1, 2, 4, 5-tetrazine (BT) was prepared by oxidation of 3, 6-bis(3, 5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-1, 2-dihydro-1, 2, 4, 5-tetrazine (BDT) with NO2. The single crystal was cultured in anhydrous alcohol using slow evaporation method, and was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The molecule belongs to monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with crystal parameters of a=1.096 nm, b=1.651 nm, c=0.714 nm, β=103.895(4) °, Z=4.
