Abstract:

RDX single crystals growing in two different solvents and cutting/polishing conditions were investigated.It is revealed that solvent properties have a important role in the morpholopy and crystal quality of RDX single crystals which can be machined into single crystal slices with 1mm~20mm thickness and used for the test of mechanic properties and initiation mechanism.
