    Abstract:

    Diaminofurazan (DAF) generated from glyoxal is oxidized by the mixture of hydrogen peroxide and concentrated sulfuric acid to give diaminoazoxyfurazan (DAAF),which is subsequently oxidized to afford a high energy density compound — dinitroazoxyfurazan (DNOAF).The total yield of DNOAF is 11%.
