    Abstract:

    A study of aluminum droplet ignition and combustion through an advanced experimental technique in normal and low-gravity environment is presented. It was found that the gravity level greatly influences dynamics of aluminum droplet combustion and morphology of combustion products. In addition,the content and pressure of oxidizing environment also influence sizes,size-distribution,shape of combustion products.
