The effects of environmental humidity on tensile properties of HTPB propellants were experimentally investigated to find out the reason of its rapid worsening elongation at 5℃ and low stretching rate. After analysis of the data obtained thereof,some approaches to prevent HTPB propellant from this worsening are proposed.
