    Abstract:

    Condensation of thiourea with glyoxal, 4,5-dihydroxy imidazolidine and 1,1,3,3-tetraethoxypropane gave bicyclic thiourea and isothiourea derivatives, respectively,which were nitrated to form their corresponding polynitrocompounds.
