The structure and basic principle of transient spectroradiometer in deter mination of combustion behavior of pyrotechnics are briefly described.Some important parameters including radiant spectro-power distribution,chromaticity(dominant wavelength,colour temperature,colour-rendering index)and luminous intensity are measured for a series of pyrotechnics such as military black powder,green and yellow luminous compositions,tracers and incendiary compositions.
