    Abstract:

    An optimum pyrotechnic composition is proposed as a base bleed of proiectiles and the effect of drag reduction and range increase was tested.The results showed the shooting range of 122mm projectile increased from 15. 3km to 22.3km,which means this kind of pyrotechnic composition is a promising base bleed for projectiles.
