This paper reports an new impact setup of impact sensitivity test for IHEs and their characteristic drop height obtained therefrom. The results show that not only a lot of IHEs’ sensitivity which is otherwise difficult to evaluated but also the sensitivity of susceptive explosives can be rationally distinguished by using this setup.
