After review of the literature on 1,3,3-trinitroazetidine (TNAZ), two routes for TNAZ synthesis on technological scale are presented, and physico-chemical properties, sensitivity and eutectic mixtures with other energetic materials for TNAZ are outlined. Application advance of TNAZ in the explosive field are also introduced according to the literature.
