         Abstract:Inordertoimprovethereliabilityanalysisoftheexplosiveinitiatorwithsmallsamplesize,amethodbasedongeneral
         izedlinearmodelsofreliabilityanalysisforexplosiveinitiatorwasproposedaccordingtosensitivitytestandcharacteristicsofrelia
         bilityanalysis.Thelikelihoodfunctionwastransformedtoageneralizedlinearexpressionofbinomialvariable.Usingthegeneral
         izedlinearmodelforbinomialdistribution,themaximum likelihoodestimationsofthemodelcoefficientswereobtained,andcor
         respondingarithmeticwasputforward.Withtheasymptoticnormalityofmaximum likelihoodestimations,theapproximatedcon
         fidenceintervalforthereliabilitywasobtainedbylogittransform ofreliabilityfuaction.Thepresentmethodwasvalidatedbythe
         testdataofstabdetonatorandelectronicdetonator.Resultsshow thatusingabout150samplesisavailabletoanalysistheexplosive
         initiatorwithareliabilitygoalof0.999bythemethodinthisresearch.
